What will students learn in this program?
Students will acquire the skills to cut hair and style, customer service, how to build a client base, understand the cosmetology industry and gain professional knowledge.

- Coloring
- Permanents

- Basic manicuring
- Basic pedicures
- Basic esthetics
The NEWTECH Skill Center offers two sites for the Cosmetology Program:
- 2824 N. Monroe in Spokane
- University City, which has been established for our Spokane Valley cosmetology students.
Upon successful completion of the Cosmetology program at the NEWTECH Skill Center, students will earn 1.5 Elective Credits per semester towards their Washington State High School Diploma. Students may take the class in both Fall and Spring semesters, earning 3 Elective Credits in a school year.
Students can earn credits toward their Washington State Cosmetology License and priority enrollment with Studio Beauty School after successful course completion.
